||With one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the history of the program, the 2014-2015 season started off with six wins against power conference opponents, including a runner up finish in the Gulf Coast Showcase to defending national champion UConn. The season also saw the Phoenix make an appearance in the AP Top 25 poll and win it's conference opening game for the 27th year in a row. |
Under Borseth's watch, Green Bay has advanced to the postseason in all eleven seasons, including eight trips to the NCAA Tournament. The Phoenix also won the regular season conference championship in each of his eleven seasons at the helm, beginning a stretch that currently stands at 16. All told, the 26-year head coaching veteran has an impressive record of 579-245 in his stints at Michigan Tech (1987-1998), Green Bay (1998-2007, 2012-pres) and Michigan (2007-2012).
During his time at Green Bay, Borseth has been named the conference coach of the year eight times and led the program to its first two NCAA Tournament victories with wins over Washington in 2003 and New Mexico in 2007.
Borseth coached a number of the most legendary players in the program's storied history, including the top two all-time leading scorers, Chari Nordgaard and Nicole Soulis. He also recruited recent standouts Celeste Hoewisch, Kayla Tetschlag, Julie Wojta and Adrian Ritchie to Green Bay.
Borseth and his wife Connie have five children; KC, Kayla, Carli, Kaitlyn and Kale.
"We hope you can join us for our 2015 camps this June. Our staff and players look forward to working with you to help you improve your game and have fun playing basketball at the same time."
