| About This Event : | The Michigan Field Hockey Camp offers the high school player advanced training under the instruction of an experienced and dedicated coaching staff. The curriculum features the latest techniques, and offensive/defensive tactics. Instruction by a world-class staff provides an elite learning experience for all participants. Evening games give teams an opportunity to compete in a top-level tournament-like atmosphere. |

| Coach Marcia Pankratz |
Marcia Pankratz begins her second stint with the University of Michigan field hockey program, returning to the reigns as head coach on Jan. 15, 2009 after a brief hiatus from coaching. Pankratz previously served as the Wolverines' head coach for nine seasons (1996-2004) and led U-M to the 2001 NCAA title -- the first by a women's team in the history of Michigan athletics.

| Kristi Gannon Fisher |
Kristi Gannon Fisher brings a wealth of valuable international and collegiate playing experience to the Michigan Field Hockey program and camp. Gannon Fisher, a two-time All-American and Big Ten Conference Athlete of the Year during her collegiate career (2000-03). She was a four-time selection to the All-Big Ten Conference first team, becoming the only the fourth player in conference history to earn such distinction. As a four-year member of the USA Field Hockey women's national team (2003-06), Gannon Fisher boasts 45 international caps and a pair of international goals. She contributed to U.S. silver medals at the 2004 Pan American Cup and 2001 Americas Cup and competed in the 2004 Olympic Qualifying Tournament. |

Week 2: Overnight Thursday July 8th: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. First session begins at 2:00 p.m. Last session ends at Noon on the 11th

| FACILITIES |
All camp sessions will be held at Ocker Field, home of the 2001 NCAA Champion Michigan field hockey team and at Michigan Stadium, home of the Wolverine football team. Phyllis Ocker Field, unveiled to the University and Ann Arbor communities in September 1995, is recognized as one of the nation's finest collegiate field hockey turfs and is a big home game advantage for the Wolverines. In the spring of 2003, Ocker Field received a new playing surface, replacing the original turf with SRI Sports' AstroTurf 1200. Friends and alumni of the University of Michigan field hockey program raised $500,000 to pay for the new surface. It is preferred around the world for field hockey and was installed at the U.S. Field Hockey National team's practice facility in Virginia Beach, Va. Link : Directions to Ocker Field |
| WHAT TO BRING |
All Campers: Stick, shin guards, mouth guard, Astroturf shoes/ tennis shoes. Goalies need to bring their own equipment. Overnight campers:Pillows, towels, linens, toiletries, rain gear, fan, and alarm clock. Day campers and commuters need to bring their own lunch. Additional field hockey equipment will be available in the camp store. |
| DORMITORY COUNSELORS |
Camp counselors will be mature, responsible individuals assigned by the University of Michigans Residential Housing Department. The counselors will live in the residence hall, supervise the campers at night and run evening activities. |
| HOUSING FORMS |
Everone registering On Line automatically recieve the required forms so no searching is required. All others, please visit the UofM website and print off the required forms. All forms are to be brought to check-in the first day of camp. Link : Housing Link |
| MEDICAL CARE |
Accident and Health Insurance for campers should be arranged by parents. Certified athletic trainers will attend all instructional sessions. The field hockey training room provides access to medical equipment for most training needs. Additionally, the University of Michigan hospital is nearby in the event of a medical emergency. |
| LODGING/MEALS |
All campers will be housed on the campus of the University of Michigan. Please Note: There will be a charge for lost keys! Overnight campers receive breakfast, lunch and dinner at the University of Michigan residence hall dining facilities. Day campers and commuters must bring their own lunch. There is NO dinner service in the dorms on Sundays. |

| Cancellation/Refund Policy |
Your camp fee less a $100.00 nonrefundable administrative deposit will be refunded without question, if you cancel at least two (2)weeks prior to the beginning of camp. At any time after that date, refund (less the $100.00 administrative fee) will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician. If no request for cancellation is made before camp begins, no refunds will be given. Any refund can only be attained from Michigan Field Hockey Camp. Registermefast.com does not issue refunds under any circumstances, except in the case of a processing error. |
