Karen Baird	Entering her ninth season at the helm of Eastern Michigan University softball, head coach Karen Baird has transformed a program that won only six games in her first season to capturing a Mid-American Conference West Division and Tournament title in 2007.  Link :  More on Coach Karen Baird
Assistant Coach Eric Oakley	Eric Oakley begins his fifth season with the Eastern Michigan University softball team, having spent the 2010 season as Interim Head Coach. The 2010 season resulted in a 19-30-1 record for the Eagles, as well as some high individual honors for EMU players. For the 2010-11 season, Oakley will continue as the pitching and catching coach, as well as work with the outfielders.
Pitching Instructor - Pat Brower	Pat Brower has been known as one of the top pitching instructor in the state of Michigan for over 20 years He has instructed many NCAA Division I, II, and III Softball pitchers and has been a great supporter of EMU Softball. Also featuring current and former EMU players.
Facilities	Eastern Michigan University Varsity Softball Field is where the summer camps will take place. In the event of severe weather we will be holding camp at EMU's Bowen Field House. Directions to Varsity Field From US 23: Take the Washtenaw exit (37A) east. Stay on Washtenaw to Hewitt. Turn left onto Hewitt. Go to Huron River Dr. and turn right. Huron River Dr. past the 2nd light (Cornell) and turn right into first drive after the light. There is a sign that says: "Shipping and Receiving" that marks the driveway. Directions to Bowen Fieldhouse I-94 to US 23 North OR I-96 to 23 South to 17 East (Washtenaw Ave.) Approximately 4 miles to Oakwood. Left on Oakwood to 2nd stop sign (Structure Drive) Turn Right on Structure to Fieldhouse. Parking in the Bowen Fieldhouse Lot.  Link :  More on EMU facilities
Camp Cost Structure Ages 8-18	The Pitcher/Catcher Camp is $40, the Skills Camp is $40, the Hitting Camp is $40, or sign up for two camps and receive $10 off. Groups of 10 or more also qualify for a $10 discount per person. $5 is added for walk-up registration. We do verify the discount so if you take the discount you MUST enter a universal group name, when you register On Line. Lunch is NOT included.
Camp Itinerary	Registration/check-in at Varsity Field: 8:30 am Skills Camp, Hitting Camp, & Pitcher/Catcher Camp Will be from 9:00 am – 1:00 p.m.
What to Bring	1) Workout clothing and sliders 2) Helmet, glove, bat, batting gloves 3) Catcher’s equipment 4) Water bottle and snacks for break
Medical Care / Release for Medical Treatment	A member of our athletic training staff will be present during each session. Medical forms must be completed by a parent and filled out before or at registration. Application WILL NOT be complete until the signed forms are returned. Since most of the students attending the school are under 18 years of age, it is necessary that our doctors have the parents' permission to administer treatment in the event of accident or sudden illness. If you are 18 years of age or older, sign your name. EACH CAMPER MUST CARRY INSURANCE. NO PERSON MAY ATTEND CAMP WITHOUT INSURANCE COVERAGE.
Refund/Cancellation Policy	There is no refund unless the camp is cancelled.
On Line Registration	When you do Register On Line here there is a nominal 5.5% processing fee however you actually reserve your spot instantly in the selected camp. Upon completion, you simply print a Secured receipt of the transaction at home and we provide the required forms for camp in that bundle. We ask that you return the completed forms no later than one week before camp and bring copy of receipt/forms to check in the first day. You receive an email confirmation that contains all the pertainent info should it be misplaced. This Site does not store credit card numbers (only the last four digits) and NO information is ever used for 3rd party marketing purposes for any reason PERIOD!
