About This Event :The Michigan Girls Soccer Camp is in its 20th year of commitment to female soccer players and to the development of their skills, tactics, enjoyment, and passion for the game. We aim to provide the knowledge and tools for the improvement of each camper, regardless of skill, age, and experience. Our top-level staff is comprised of college head and assistant coaches as well as current and former college players.

Michigan Coaches Greg Ryan, the former U.S. Women's National Team coach, accepted the position of head coach for the Michigan women's soccer team on Feb. 1, 2008. He became just the second head coach in the program's 14-year history.

Dean Duerst completed his fifth season as the Wolverines Associate Head Coach in 2012. He is considered one of the top coaches in the nation following 13 years of success with the Wisconsin women's soccer team and years coaching women's U17 and U23 national teams. This is Dean's 6th year as Director of the Michigan Girls Soccer Camps.

Assistant Coach, and Goalkeeper Coach, Angela Napoli completed her third season with the Wolverines in 2012. A former standout goalkeeper for the Minutewomen, Napoli has worked soccer camps around the country and served as the Director of Goalkeepers for the Boulder County Force Soccer Club in Colorado.

Daily Schedule Samples There will be multiple breaks for water and snacks. Gatorade and water will be provided. Each day we will focus on a different skill and have new games and activities.

RECRUITING CAMPS
The daily curriculum will include a selection of small sided games, full 11 v 11 games, functional training, video and match analysis, recruiting presentations, strength, speed, agility, fitness, recovery methods, and nutrition. You can find a more detailed schedule on our website.

Facilities The brand new U-M Soccer Complex features a regulation, lighted competition field and separate practice fields for both the men's and women's programs. The fields are located west of the Varsity Tennis Center on South State Street. More information and directions to the U-M Soccer Complex can be found on the mgoblue.com website. In the event of a thunderstorm, we will take shelter inside the Varsity Tennis Center, located in the same lot as the soccer complex.

What To Bring Each camper must have cleats and an alternate pair of comfortable shoes or sandals to change into between sessions. A soccer ball is needed and may be purchased on-line during the registration process, as well as throughout the week at camp. (See event merchandise below). Please bring rain gear and sun block. Shinguards are required! Bed linens, toiletries, pillow, and towels are needed for the resident camps. A fan is optional and recommended.

Meals and Lodging Housing and meals will be provided at a U-M resident hall. Most rooms are double. Rooms are awarded at registration on the first day of camp. There is NO preregistration of roommates. The best way to guarantee a roommate is to come to registration together on the first day.

Camp Forms/Information All resident campers, please go to the website and print off the housing permission slip. This is to be brought to registration on the first day of camp. There is other important housing information listed as well. Roommates will be assigned at registration check-in time, so please try to arrive with your roommate if you have a request. When you register online, all the required forms are included with your receipt.

Medical Release Form All parents must print, sign, and return this form for each camper. This form will be attached to each Online Registration Invoice for your convenience.

Cancellation / Refund Policy Refund Policy
The camp fee, less a $100.00 non-refundable administrative deposit, will be refunded without question if you cancel at least two weeks prior to the beginning of camp. At any time after that date, refunds (less the $100.00 admin fee) will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician. Schedule conflicts do not justify refund or cancellation. No refunds will be issued after the start of camp.If no request for cancellation is made before camp begins, no refunds will be given. Any refund can only be attained from Michigan Women's Soccer Camp, LLC. Registermefast.com DOES NOT issue refunds under any circumstances, except in the case of a system processing error.
Registration When you choose to register on line, there is a 5.5% processing fee. Upon completion, you reserve your spot at camp instantly. You can print a Secure PDF Invoice of the transaction (which simultaneously attaches the required forms for camp). You receive an immediate email confirmation. This email will also contain a link for your invoice/forms should they be misplaced. This Site does not store your credit card number or use your registration information for marketing purposes for any reason!
