About This Event :Practice, eat and sleep in the same facilities as Carolina Football Players. The newest offensive, defensive and kicking techniques will be taught with an emphasis on fundamentals. The camp will be coached by the Carolina Football Staff who have coaching experience at the high school, college and professional levels. The Carolina Staff will be assisted by some of the top high school and college coaches. Come learn how to practice and play the Carolina way. You will learn and have fun, too!

Kenan Memorial Stadium Carolina football plays its home games at Kenan Memorial Stadium (cap. 60,000), one of the most picturesque athletic venues in America. Kenan Stadium has been the home of the Tar Heels since 1927 and the thrill of playing in or attending a game there is as exhilarating now as it was when it was first constructed.

SPECIAL FEATURES Each year a number of former Carolina Football Camp participants who became UNC players and are now active NFL players are involved in our camp. You may see NFL stars like Julius Peppers, Dre’ Bly, Brian Simmons, David Thornton, Willie Parker, Jeff Reed and many more.
Individual Skill/Linemen Camp
(June 14-16, Grades 9-12)
Each lineman will be instructed individually on the fundamentals of offensive and/or defensive line play emphasizing both run and pass techniques. Linemen will be taught fundamentals by some of the most well respected coaches in the country, including defensive line coach John Blake and offensive line coach Sam Pittman. Blake and head coach Butch Davis have coached some of the most outstanding defensive linemen in the game and Pittman has been a part of several top 20 rushing teams in his 15-year career. The cost includes room,
board, camp photograph and Carolina T-shirt.

JR Tar Heel Camp
(June 14-16, Ages 9-13)
This is a three-day camp specifically designed for younger players to learn the fundamentals of football and enjoy all the amenities of the Carolina Football program. The cost includes room, board, camp photograph and Carolina Tshirt.

Kicking/Specialist Camp
(June 16, Grades 9-12)
Highly qualified instructors will be on hand to coach all phases of the kicking game. There will be a full day of instruction and drills and competition periods. The cost includes Carolina T-shirt.

Two Day Skill/Lineman Camp
(June11-12 and 17-18, Grade 9-12)
All campers will receive two days of quality, personal instruction at their position(s) from the UNC Football Staff. The camp provides a comprehensive approach to the most up-to-date techniques. For skill positions, there will be a unique opportunity to learn all phases of the passing game through an exciting and competitive form of pass skeleton, which allows offensive and defensive units to compete against each other. The cost includes room, board, camp photograph and Carolina T-shirt.

7 on 7 Beast on The Hill Team Camp July 23rd / Grades 9 -12
10 or more campers constitute a team
$25 Per camper


Field space limits this camp to a maximum of 32 teams therefore teams will be accepted on a first come first served basis. To register high school coaches must send in registration forms and a minimum of a 50% deposit along with their contact information including a summer e-mail address. Teresa Vanderford will contact you with a confirmation number and you will be officially registered and a spot will be held for your team. This is a 1-day, non-contact camp designed for team passing development and competition. The 7 on 7 competition is an excellent way for high schools to compete against local teams and teams from neighboring states. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 5 games.

Each camper must fill out registration form, insurance and medical forms and permission form (a PDF version of these forms is included in the PDF of the camp brochure on this website). All campers must bring helmet, mouthpiece, tennis shoes and cleats. Teams must return their forms as a group prior to July 1st . Individuals must be registered with their team and all registrations must be submitted by their coach due to the team nature of this camp. The cost includes Carolina t-shirt and lunch.

Registration: Friday, July 23rd , 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. at Eddie Smith Indoor Facility
(All teams must be pre-registered – no registration forms accepted the day of camp. This insures we can get all the teams on the field playing as soon as possible.)

DUE TO THE TEAM NATURE OF THIS CAMP ON-LINE REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE.
SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING TO CAMP 1. Football helmets and football shoes (cleats and tennis shoes) are preferred for drill periods. All quarterbacks should bring a football for drills. Helmets are required for Beast on the Hill camp and individual/linemen/skill camps, but not for junior camp.
2. Tennis shoes, cleats, practice shorts, T-shirts, socks and supporters are needed for drill periods. Bring extra practice clothes so you can change as needed.
3. Towels, bed linens, blanket, pillow, toiletries, soap, sunscreen lotion and alarm clock are necessary.
INSURANCE & MEDICAL FORMS A supplemental insurance plan has been contracted by the football camp. This is included in the camp fee. The enclosed preparticipation physical evaluation form must be completed for all camps. You may pre-register without including this form but it must be presented at registration before the player will be
allowed to participate.
Register On Line Today When you Register On Line right here there is a 5.5% processing fee but you actually secure your spot in the selected camp instantly with your secure CC transaction. We only accept payment in full on line. Upon completion, you simply print your receipt and we include all the required forms for camp. Please complete, sign and return all required forms no later than 7 days prior to camp and bring a copy of these forms to check in the first day. You also receive an immediate email confirmation containing all pertinent information should they be misplaced. This Site does not store credit card numbers (only the last four digits) and NO information is ever used for 3rd party marketing purposes for any reason PERIOD!
For Mail in Payment Due to NCAA rules no camper is allowed to participate in camp without payment in full. By mail, you can pre-register and hold a spot for all camps, a $50 deposit must be made ($200 deposit required per team for team camp). Any individual camper who has a balance due can either use the On Line system in the (Make Final Payment) selection or pay at check-in/registration. Any payments postmarked seven (7) days prior to registration may be in the form of check or money order (made out to Carolina Football Camp). All payments that are not postmarked seven (7) days prior to registration must be presented at registration. ALL PAYMENTS MADE AT REGISTRATION MUST BE CASH OR MONEY ORDER. NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Credit cards are not acceptable for payment at any time DURING check-in. If you do mail-in your application, please remember to include the required forms with the application but do this no later than 7 days before the first day of camp. Your confirmation letter also includes this reminder.
